4 Easy Steps to Support Small Business

I love the opportunities small business and franchising offers our communities. Unfortunately, starting a business and/or a franchise today is not an easy task. Our economy is powered by entrepreneurs who want to be small business owners and provide jobs for local residents. These business owners take  financial risks to build their business. They look to banks and loan institutions to borrow funds to start their business or to expand and grow their business.

Start up capitol is not as accessible today as it was years ago when I started my own franchise. Loans are difficult to secure. But there are a few alternatives! I am very  excited to see  resources such as – “Mission: Small Business℠ (“Program“)! The program sponsors are  Chase Bank USA, National Association (“Chase“) and LivingSocial, Inc. (“LivingSocial“) (individually or together “Sponsor” or “Sponsors“) to increase awareness of the important role small businesses play in local communities and to help small businesses grow. As evidence of the commitment to small businesses nationwide, Chase will provide grants to eligible small businesses.”

You can help by voting TODAY! Each business needs at least 250 votes to be considered for a $250,000 grant. Two of my friends have applied and need our help. Gayle Raume, CEO/Founder, The Money Academy out of Austin Texas and Rochel Roland, CEO/Founder, Joyful Bath Co. in Bethesda, Maryland.

Please vote for The Money Academy and Joyful Bath

Voting is super easy!

1. Go to Mission Small Business Home Page: https://www.missionsmallbusiness.com

2. Sign in using your Facebook login

3. Search the small business name.

4. Click VOTE

Voting ends June 30th so please take a minute today to support my friends .  Then search your own city and vote. I promise you will be surprised how many local small business owners need your support!
