My Favorite Tech and Social Media Podcasts

Do you work with Pandora playing in the background? Have you streamed radio stations from around the world? One of my favorite live radio shows comes from the Eastern Shore, 6-9 am. I am a little bias since the DJ, Matt Spence is family but he is really good and I love their music. http://www.wceiradio.com

Besides music I listen to podcasts and I will share a few of my favorites.  I’ve been traveling a great deal lately and it’s nice to have to podcasts playing in the background while driving or sitting for hours in a plane.

Social Geek Radio: This is my weekly internet radio show. There are times that I re-listen to previous shows for specific information and/or the GeekItOut segment hosted by AK Stout. Our show description: Get in touch with your inner geek with Deb Evans and AK Stout! Listen in each week as we discuss the use of social technologies on today’s Web. Join us along with special guests as we talk about utilizing the various social technology platforms to connect with others. If you think you enjoy technology just as much as you do relationships, this show is for you. At the end of each episode don’t miss the #GeekItOut segment where we’ll take a deeper technical dive into some advanced topics related to social media. We air live weekly, Wednesday 6pm PT, 8pm CT, 9pm ET.

Social Pros Podcast; I am a big fan of the Now Revolution written by Jay Baer and Amber Naslund so it was only natural I subscribe to the podcast and extend my learning. Jay and Eric Boggs, spend 30 minutes with social media strategists: real people doing real work in social media. Be sure to visit the Website and download Jay’s new eBook: “Be A Knockout Brand”

The Great Business Project: I have mentioned Ralph Quintero in my posts before. Ralph Quintero is the founder of The Great Business Project, a specialized media and consulting services company helping entrepreneurs build great businesses and achieve the financial success and freedom they deserve. He launched the The Great Business Project magazine earlier this year and I became hooked. The articles and interviews embedded in the magazine are worth spending time with. He has just nine podcasts under his belt and I’ve enjoyed each one and look forward to future podcasts.

Inside PR: Inside PR is a weekly podcast about public relations and social media, hosted by Gini Dietrich in Chicago, Joseph Thornley in Ottawa and Martin Waxman in Toronto and produced by Thornley Fallis. Each week, the three industry veterans take a look at the state of the PR industry, explore topical and provocative issues, discuss listener comments, and even interview an interesting guest or two.Inside PR

Data Doctors: “Listen, Laugh & Learn, on the Data Doctors Radio Program. The tech show for non-tech people” is the tag line for radio show. It’s perfect! The hosts Ken Colburn, Brandon Disney and Spanky are so entertaining and the information they share is always useful. I’ve known the Data Doctors founder, Ken Colburn for years through the IFA and he is one of my favorite Geeks. Their videos on YouTube provide great tech tips visually but they throw in some of the funniest videos on technology I’ve ever seen.

  1. Thanks for including my show Deb! It’s a real honor. I am glad you are enjoying it.

Apart from Social Geek Radio, I love Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income Podcast, Mixergy with Andrew Warner, and The Lifestyle Business Podcast with Dan and Ian.

  2. Deb Evans says:

Thanks Ralph. I will add them to my list!

  3. Does “veterans” mean we’re old??
